Descripción: The purpose of doing this naturalist illustration is the love for nature specially these water lily leaves. I have seen them multiple times from the normal view. But when I find a photograph of underwater water lily leaf, it just took my breath away for few seconds. The calmness, the tranquility I felt that time actually encouraged me to do this illustration. The characteristics of nymphaea lutea shown in this illustrations are – I did from a unique view which means from beneath the water's surface, I used transparent layering to create depth and distance and the flowing lines of the stems depicts the gentle underwater movement which adds rhythm to the composition.
