Descripción: In spring and early summer, kingfishers on low oak branches near a quiet pond in the beautiful Rambouillet forest, where I live. They nest in a nest dug on the bank, at the bottom of a tunnel. Difficult to observe, a beautiful blue, swift in flight. They inspire me! A small bird measuring about 16 cm with a fairly large head in relation to its body. It is the male who feeds the young and the female during the breeding season. Mating occurs regularly during the summer.
I drew an atmosphere of this mating period, between adult, immature and peach.
