Descripción: Every year, millions of birds, known as migratory birds, fly across the globe, including the crane. Recent studies show that these birds possess a special perception system, enabling them to see the Earth's magnetic field. They owe this ability to specific proteins called cryptochromes, which are embedded in the birds' retinas. This phenomenon is to be better depicted through my illustration. The glowing blue lines represent the Earth's magnetic field, and the detailed close-up of the crane's eye aims to showcase the cryptochromes hidden within the eye.
