DESCRIPTION: This is one in a series of three work, each representing: skylark and bluebirds, butterfly and this one with yellow billed stork. For this project I choose something different, so for the media I combine watercolour and paper cutting. First I begin preparing the background paper with infusion of onion or coffee, then I sketch the forms and add watercolour … finally, depending on the composition, with the help of a sharp knife I start creating little holes.
Composition aims for multidimensionality spaces in search of harmony, so two-dimensional surfaces obtained will be transformed into a three dimensional image that will give a new field of vision. For proper dynamic substance I watched the transition from non-figurative watercolor to very descriptive areas. At the same time , this topic is intended to be the result of professional interests. Beyond the illustrative theme, I am always looking to deepen an authentic vision, manifested by technical and stylistic.
