DESCRIPTION: This artwork shows a dragonfly, which is a type of flying insect. Tetracanthagyne plagiata is a heaviest of dragonflies in Southeast Asia (Sumatra, Borneo, Singapore). The largest species have a wing - span up to 165 millimeters. The species inhabits forest streams. Individual populations are threatened by deforestation and plantation establishment. It is present of large national parks: Gunung Mulu in Sarawak, Endau Rompin in Peninsular Malaysia, or Nee Soon Swamp Forest.
