Descripción:
Barn Owl (Tyto alba) belongs to the family of Titonídeos. They live in different parts of the world in general, except Antarctica. It's approximately 20/36 cm long, with a wingspan of approximately 75/110 cm, the weight ranges from 250/700 g. They can live up to 10 years in the wild. It is a medium-sized bird, with light brown colors and black spots on the back and the back of the head, the chest, and the entire lower body are white. The plumage is soft and dense, the ends of the wings muffle the sound to be able to hunt quietly. The tear lines follow from the eyes to the tip which has a hook for tearing flesh. The neck rotates up to 270° to compensate for the fact that his eyes are still. It has excellent night vision, having the ability to distinguish the dark at a height of 10 meters requires only 10% of the light, so they possess large eyes in relation to its size.
