The Adiantum capillus-veneris is a species of fern in the genus Adiantum, it's cultivated as a garden fern and it's native to Eurasia, Western Asia and to the southern half of the United States.
It grows from 15 to 30 cm in height, its fronds arising in clusters from creeping rhizomes, 20 to 70 cm tall, with very delicate, light green fronds, much subdivided into pinnae.
This kind of fern can be found in the Botanical garden of Bologna (Italy).
