Descripción:
This painting is a representation of a very common Brazilian bird, the Sabiá Larangeira. This bird is one of the symbols of my country, very popular and inspiration of many singers and poets. Its colors are neutral and elegant, brown plumage and slightly orange on the belly region, dark yellow beak and measures about 25 centimeters long and his singing is very charming and melodious, like the sound of a flute. He lives in outdoors places like squares, gardens, orchards, they eat from worms to fruits, like bananas and papayas.
The photo was taken in the tree of my house, a myrtle tree. There the sabiás build their nests with twigs and thin sheets to create their children. Every day I wake up hearing to these beautiful birds singing, they are always around there embellishing the garden of my house. The artwork was done with watercolor on a cold press illustration board.
