Baby European Rabbit
Species or element:
Originating from Spain and Portugal, European rabbits are now wide spread throughout Europe and also other continents, where they are concidered pests. A young rabbit is called a kitten, and these animals are prey to a large variety of predatory animals, like owls, hawks, eagles, foxes, wolves, lynxes, stoats, weasels and many others. Fortunately, rabbits are well equipped with defenses, like excellent vision, hearing and smell, and the ability to run fast and make very sharp turns.
Young rabiits are dependent on their mothers, but grow up quickly and are very cute and playful.
