My name is Tatyana, I am a biology student, and this illustration is my little warm memory of summer practice, when I was still a freshman. At our biological station "Staraya Pustyn", a place in deep pine forests, we made collections of insects, plants, described and studied them. And I'll never forget this huge beautiful ground beetle, which I never managed to catch on that summer day in 2014!
Today, in 2017, I paint it as a memory of past studies and a symbol of not lost interest in the scientific illustration.
