Canarina Canariensis - Viktoria Emilie Morgenstern
Viktoria Emilie Morgenstern
Canarina Canariensis 24th of January 2017, Palmenhaus Vienna. About a year ago, I started drawing forms I would find in nature (I'm a student at the photography&sculpture departmant at our local Art University), and discovered that in winter it is great to have a greenhouse nearby. I draw directly on the paper with my Pilot Pen, because actually I don't have the time to do it first with a pencil and then go over it with the Pilot – because sometimes they just start the rain machine in the greenhouse, and so you have to be fast to get your drawing done! But I actually kinda like it, you can see every stroke, every mistake, and I think this is part of the process and ok. I've chosen the C.C., because this particular plant wore all 3 different stadiums of her blossoms, at the same time.
