Chamaeleonidae – *Furcifer pardalis*
I chose the Chameleon panther which is a species of saurian native of Madagascar of the family Chamaeleonidae because it is fascinating and symbolizes my country. It is part of the biggest chameleons existing. The female lives about 3 years, the male can reach 5 years. Independently mobile eyes; they can therefore see in two different directions. The species presents various colorations (called "phases") characteristic of the different Malagasy regions from which it may originate. Females have fairly dull hues, while males have very spectacular colors.
