This image is of a Long Eared Owl and was created using Adobe Illustrator. It was my intention to try to portray some of the elegance and beauty of this creature in my work. I wanted to create a picture that was anatomically correct and was also aesthetically pleasing. I chose to go for a realistic approach to creating this piece and did it as a vector drawing solely on an iPad. I spent many hours laboring over this piece and I believe that it has developed into a bold and eye catching representation of a Long Eared Owl.
