The apple tree (Malus pumila, commonly and erroneously called Malus domestica) is a deciduous fruit tree in the rose family best known for its sweet, pomaceous fruit, the apple. The tree originated in Central Asia, where its wild ancestor, Malus sieversii, is still found today. The most charming characteristics of Red Prince apple variety are its nutrient-rich, red skin (red colour indicates that it is high in antioxidants), its tangy-sweet flavour and its versatility. They are delicious and packed with fibre, protein and essential fatty acids.This illustration is made entirely with watercolor and last light effects have been made in digital.
