Nature is a beautiful and emotional system that touches our hearts and teaches us a lot. My illustration shows the complex act of collecting pollen and nectar as food for the entire colony and simultaneously pollinating plants.
I see professionals working all around me, who don't have the time to visit home for long durations. On the other hand, honeybees are considered to be one of the most hardworking species on the planet. They teach us the importance of living and loving a community that we are a part of, that is, our families and friends. Stuck in the rat race many of us forget about the family that awaits our presence in a home built by all of us together. My illustration highlights the last act of all, that is, to go back home.
