Quail with open wing
The quail is ordinary. Inhabits in the fields on the plains and in the mountains. Distributed in Europe, Africa and West Asia. The quail can live in cages as a fighting bird and for the sake of "singing" – a loud current shout of male. Their main value is dietary meat. An interesting feature is that the bird has very developed wings. They are skyrocketing, but their flight is short. It is also interesting that they do not have long tail feathers, which greatly hinders flight control. The illustration shows a bird at the moment of sipping.
