Description:
The eagle owl is our biggest prey bird and is very rare, so it is difficult to see. It has brown and black feathers with, large wings and it is known fof its feather tufts on its head. It also has large orange eyes, a sharp hooked beak and strong leags with big claws. It is the largest owl in the world. Its habitat are rough ravines and quiet, old forests. It is active at dusk and at night. It feeds with small and medium-sized mammals, lower vertebrates, reptiles and insects, including fish, rarely carrion. It is a highly endangered species.
