I have tried to represent the microalgae Protoperidinium sp from all points of view and perspectives in that strange marine universe of just 10 microns. I wanted to highlight from all angles its folds, structures, pores and frame, including, in the last term, the most representative silhouette of the microalgae (on a scale of 50 μm). I wanted to place the microalgae in such a way that they give an appearance of depth and movement in a silence atmosphere.
It is incredible so much beauty in the hundredth part of a millimeter.
Protoperidinium is a genus of marine plankton dinoflagellate with a wide range of distribution in all seas and oceans of the planet. It has a pore on the top and two horns on the bottom. Up to 300 species have been described and can be bioluminescent.
