Descripción: The illustration shows our nearest neighbor and one of the most common snails – Banded Garden Snail (Cepaea nemoralis). This small creature can be found every day in close surroundings, but hardly anyone will pay attention to the beauty of colors and structures that we can observe on this snail. I wanted to show body build with great accuracy, because we only see its complexity when we get very close to it. I also wanted to create an interesting portrait of this tiny animal, thanks to which we will pay more attention and maybe even like this little inhabitant of gardens and forests.
