Descripción: The eyes of this bird have caught my attention and I decided to find out more about it and to describe its character in drawings.
The Atlantic puffin is a species of seabird in the auk family. It is the only puffin native to the Atlantic Ocean. This bird is most commonly found on the Westman Islands, Iceland.
The bird has really well recognizable features of its look: the almost triangular in shape eyes, a boldly colored and very distinctive beak. It feeds mainly on small fish. The Atlantic puffin is a sociable bird and it usually breeds in large colonies, in late spring.
Although it has a large population the species has declined rapidly.
I wanted to tell the main features of this bird in one composition, using an ink line and watercolor strokes.
