The leaf is a very important part of any plant, and banana leaves the same, it's absorb carbon dioxide and synthesize chlorophyll. In virtue of the transverse veins that are dotted with banana leaves, even with a hurricane wind, damage occurs only along these veins, while the leaf itself can safe it's functions and doesn't even lose much in terms of it's attractiveness – nature is wise!"
