Descripción: For this naturalistic illustration I have chosen the "Chamaeleo calyptratu". It is the most common species of chameleon in terrariums, for its strength and beauty. It is native to Yemen and the southern part of Saudi Arabia. As can be seen in the representation, the head has a bony protuberance on the top, called helmet, which is larger in the male. The basic color is green, of an intensity that varies according to the mood. There are brown, yellow and blue streaks and spots on the body. This shows the reason for my choice. I am fascinated by its ability to change color. Why does he do it? Many say they need it to blend in. But he is more likely to do it to express his emotions. We do it with words, the chameleon changes color.
