Descripción: Red-eyed treefrogs are not poisonous but rely on bright and colorful camouflage to protect themselves. They appear almost completely green, and well hidden among the foliage, at the same time have some bright blue spots on sides and back legs that they hide under the body. They keep their red eyes shut, but when a red-eyed treefrog detects an approaching predator, it abruptly opens its eyes and stares at the predator, that may startle it.
