Título: LADYBUG – LIFE CYCLE
Especie: Coccinellidae Ladybug Beetle

Descripción: Coccinellidae represents a widespread family of beetles known by several names like Ladybugs, Lady Beetles, Ladybug Beetles and Ladybird Beetles.
Their wing covers are often colored red, orange or yellow with black spots, and their legs, heads and antennas are black.
Ladybugs progress through a four-stage life cycle, known as complete metamorphosis: The Embryonic Stage – Eggs (I), The Larval Stage – Larvae (II), The Pupal Stage – Pupae (III) and The Imaginal Stage – Adult Beetles (IV).
The Larvae Stage can give a hint about their predatory kind as it somewhat resembles a tiny alligator with elongated body and exoskeleton.
Being a predator beetle specie, they attack a wide range of prey insects and are also important in certain examples of biological control.
