Título: City pigeon
Especie: C.Livia

Descripción: City pigeons, that derive from rock pigeons, acquire big dimensions, being nowadays an abundant specie. Presently, they are seen as synanthropic animals of fast reproduction, taking part on a big environmental problem because they house parasites that can be harmful to human health.
City pigeons have a lot of different colour patterns, with small differences between male and female. Their plumage has normally some shades of grey, lighter in the wings than in the chest and the head, with a tail with black stripes and greenish neck, with metallic reflections. Their head is small and the beak is short and has an elevation near the nasal cavity.
