Title: Knowing Narwhals
Specie: Narwhal

Description: We call Narwhals (Monodon monoceros) as "the unicorn of the sea" because of its tusk which seems to mislead everyone to the idea that it is a unicorn. Indeed it looks so, but actually it is their tooth. They are porpoises, which can be found in Arctic coastal waters and rivers. In both males and females tusk grows right through the Narwhal's upper lip, which is up to 10 feet long for males. For females, %15 of them can also grow up one of these long teeth, but will be still shorter compared to males.Scientists still could not find the purpose of this tusk, but some believe it is used in mating rituals, in order to impress females, or surviving a battle, just like a weapon. They travel in groups of 15-20 generally, and feed on Shrimps, Fish etc.Their size is up to 13-20 feet, weight of 1,5 ton.
