Title: Przewalski's horses
Specie: Przewalski's horses

Description: Przhevalsky's horse is an endangered species of wild horse discovered in 1878 by Nikolai Mikhailovich Przhevalsky in Central Asia. Previously, these wild horses were widespread in the forest-steppes, steppes and semi-deserts of Europe, the steppes and partly the forest-steppes of Kazakhstan and the south of Western Siberia.
As a result of the extermination, the Przewalski's horse disappeared from its natural habitats. Since 1992, programs have been launched for the reintroduction (return to the wild) of the Przewalski horse. Since 2015, the twelfth in the world and the first in Russia project for the reintroduction of the Przewalski horse has been implemented in Russia in the Orenburg Reserve.
For 2021, the population of the Przewalski horse in the Orenburg region is 69 individuals.
