Descripción: On the illustration is a specimen of the mineral fluorite from the Vojko Pavšič collection. The specimen was discovered on the mountain Blegoš in Slovenia. Illustration was made in classical technique gouache on paper. On the left side of the illustration we can see fluorite coloration under daylight with typical green shades. On the right side of the illustration is the same fluorite exposed to UV lighting. This specimen gets fluorescent blue, purple and pink glow while exposed to UV lighting. For observing the specimen while drawing it fluorite was in the dark space (box) lighted up with a special UV lamp.
