Descripción: The cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) is the fastest land animal. The coat is typically tawny to creamy white or pale buff and is mostly covered with evenly spaced, solid black spots. The head is very small compared to the rest of the body and it's skull It's skull presents enlarged nasal opening that improve breathing while running. Thanks to its flexible spine the cheetah beats the horse at speed. The horse's spine remains rigid while the cheetah's spine flexes like a bow. The cheetah takes 0.28 seconds for a stride of 6-8 meters, against the 0.44 of the horse.
