Description: Shaun the Sheep is a British stop-motion children's television series that was inspired by the friendly and curious character of this sheep – Suffolk
The Suffolk is a British breed of domestic sheep. It originated in late 18th century in the Bury St. Edmunds area of Suffolk as a result of crossbreeding.
The Suffolk is a large, white, woolly sheep with a black face and woolless legs and without horns. Suffolk comes from selective breeding and bloodlines where the natural horns have been lost. Natural loss of horns occurs in cattle, yaks, buffalo and goats, and in these animals it affects both sexes equally; in sheep, on the other hand, both sexes may be hornless, both have horns, or only the males have horns. The history of the hornless races begins around 6,000 BC
