Explicación: The homeland of Acer palmatum is Japan, China and Korea. Thanks to its elegant and bright leaves it is popular in gardens around the world. This deciduous tree with round crown can reach heights of 6-10m (20-33 ft) and in the wild up to 16m (52ft). (А). The leaves are 4–12 cm long and wide, palmately lobed with five, seven, or nine acutely pointed lobes (B). Depending on season, these leaves can change color from a soft pink to green to dark purple. The pruple flowers are arranged in downward-pointing inflorescences (C). Seeds have wings of about 2.5 cm (1 inch) (D)
