Descripción: Hablando desde el lado científico, esta especie de rana es un anfibio anuro de la familia de Hylidae, que habita desde la parte oriental de Honduras hasta el noroeste de Colombia. Se le suele encontrar en sitios elevados y aunque lo parezca no es venenoso.

Ha sido mi elección final debido a sus colores llamativos y atractivos. Aunque por lo general suelen exhibir un color verde muy llamativo, la rana verde de ojos rojos también puede ser de color azul o amarillo.

En cuanto a la composición de la obra, en la parte inferior se encuentra el animal hiperrealista realizado con acuarela y lápices de madera de base oleosa. Junto a él vemos la rana dibujada con menos iconicidad y únicamente con acuarela y rotulador calibrado de color negro. Por último, se ha añadido el esqueleto en blanco para que destaque sobre el fondo negro, así se genera un perfecto contraste entre los elementos y el fondo.

Speaking from the scientific side, this species of frog is an anuran amphibian of the Hylidae family, which lives from the eastern part of Honduras to the northwest of Colombia. It is usually found in high places and although it may seem like it, it is not poisonous.

It has been my final choice due to its bright and attractive colors. Although they usually exhibit a very striking green color, the red-eyed green frog can also be blue or yellow.

Regarding the composition of the work, at the bottom is the hyper-realistic animal made with watercolor and oil-based wooden pencils. Next to him we see the frog drawn with less iconicity and only with watercolor and a calibrated black marker. Finally, the white skeleton has been added to stand out against the black background, thus generating a perfect contrast between the elements and the background.
