Descripción: El manzano florece en primavera, cuando las ramas del árbol cobran vida y empiezan a crecer, se hinchan los capullos, luego las hojas y las flores. Las flores son blancas, rosas o rojas, reunidas en semicumbrellas o escudos. Las flores miden hasta 4 centímetros de diámetro. Los pétalos y el olor dulce de las flores atraen a los insectos que transportan el polen. Las flores no duran mucho en las ramas del manzano. Sólo 12-15 días, y luego se caen y se forman los frutos en el árbol.

The apple tree blossoms in spring when the branches of the tree come to life and begin to grow, buds swell, then leaves and flowers. The flowers are white, pink or red, gathered in semi-umbrellas or shields. The flowers are up to 4 centimetres in diameter. The petals and sweet smell of the flowers attract insects that carry pollen. The flowers do not last long at all on the branches of the apple tree. They last only 12-15 days, and then they fall off and fruit is formed on the tree.
