The Cucuteni-Tripolye culture acquired its greatest prosperity between 5500 and 2750 BC. Its traces were f on the territory of Romania, Moldova and Ukraine. Ceramic products are the most numerous finds among the remains of material culture. The most interesting mystery of the Tripolye culture are binocular vessel. These are cult ceramics in the form of two cylinders with bowls with through holes. The bowls are connected by a lintel. The lintels have an anthropomorphic appearance. The cult purpose of binoculars is not in doubt, but the exact purpose is still unknown. Appear at the end of Tripolye A, exist until the beginning of Tripolye C1. In different regions and in different periods of time, different types of clay are used for pottery. They are decorated with different kinds of ornamentation. There are ceramics with drawn ornament and also with recessed ornament. These parameters help in the classification of Tripolye ceramics.

4.National reserve of Ternopil. Binocular vessel without a drawing. Presumably Tripolye C1. Made using kalionite clay, after firing it acquired a shade of grayish yellow color.
