The last Dodo - Justine Lecouffe

For this study of a dodo, I went to the Natural History Museum in London, and looked at all the different fossils and drawings that they have there. It is truly a wonderful resource, and I found fascinating the fact that so little is known about this extinct bird. Of course, at the time of its disappearance, scientists did not realise how valuable their dodo specimens were, and very few elements were preserved.
